According to Mahatma Phule – “Lack of education is the sole cause of one’s
non-progress.”
“Sai
Education Society, Gijavane. Tal- Gadhinglaj Dist- Kolhapur (Maharashtra)” is a
registered organization working with
their aims and objective for providing service to disabled. By considering the requirement and honest work for the
betterment of person with disabilities the Government of Maharashtra gave
recognition, vide their order bearing No. 05-06/2885 dated 29/12/2005 & special license for
doing significant & fruitful social work towards person with disabilities which
worked as a foundation for developing model school for CWHI. Unfortunately lack
of professional manpower being an obstacle in the progress of all work, this
results into development of teacher training programme.
We are feeling proud to say that we are the only institution from this tribal area which providing excellent educational, vocational and rehabilitation opportunities to CWHI. As well as we are the only teacher training institute of the district providing D.Ed. SE (HI) & DHLS courses, and also only institute affiliated with Shivaji university Kolhapur for providing B.Ed.(HI) course facility.
